Synopsis

Don Quixote and Sancho ride across the fields of Criptana. Quixote holds forth on honour and good manners with a tongue as sharp as his sword; Sancho, half asleep on his donkey, only thinks about the wages he's been promised.

When Quixote spots a row of windmills, he sees in them Pandafilando of the Frowning Look and an army of giants placed there by the wizard Frestón to mock God and His creation. He charges, convinced he is fighting the battle that will save the world.

What the audience first sees as a Homeric feat is revealed, blade by blade, as the most ridiculous and painful beating ever filmed.
