This site uses two analytics cookies, and only if you accept them. Nothing is stored in your browser until you say yes: no analytics, no advertising, no profiling. Rejecting takes exactly one click, like accepting.
1. What we measure, and what we do not
We use Google Analytics to know which pages get read and roughly where readers come from. We do not use it for advertising: Google's advertising signals are switched off and your IP address is truncated before it is stored.

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie: we are not going to store a cookie in order to remember that you do not want cookies. Clearing your browser data resets the question.
We do not know how many people visit the Site, which pages they read or where they came from. That is the trade-off we have chosen.
2. What we do collect
Our hosting provider keeps technical server logs — IP address, timestamp and requested URL — which are necessary to serve the Site and to protect it against abuse. That is not a cookie and does not require consent, but it is personal data and is covered by our privacy policy.
3. Third parties
The Site does not embed content that would set third-party cookies: no analytics platform, no social media widgets, no video players from external services, no advertising networks.
Some pages link out to third-party sites. Once you follow one of those links, that site's own cookie policy applies, not ours.
4. Controlling cookies in your browser
Even though we do not set any, you can review and delete cookies from any site in your browser's settings — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all provide this under privacy or content settings.
5. If this changes
If we ever add analytics or embedded third-party content, we will update this page before doing so and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent beforehand — granular, revocable, and with nothing non-essential loading until you agree.
