Accessibility statement — Contanimation

We want www.contanimation.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion settings. This statement sets out where we stand, honestly — including what is not solved yet.

1. Standard we work to

We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA. That is the reference used by the European Accessibility Act and by Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018. We treat it as a working target, not as a badge: some criteria are met today, others are still being worked on.

2. Measures in place

Real HTML, server-rendered. Content is in the markup, not assembled by JavaScript, so screen readers and any assistive technology receive it directly.
Semantic structure. One h1 per page, headings in order, lists marked as lists, and landmarks so navigation, main content and footer can be jumped to.
Skip link to jump straight to the main content.
Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element. The focus outline is never removed without a replacement.
Reduced motion respected. With prefers-reduced-motion enabled, scroll animations and page transitions are disabled — not merely shortened.
Fluid typography that scales with the viewport, and text that reflows on zoom without horizontal scrolling.
Language declared per page, including the English and Spanish versions, so screen readers use the right pronunciation.

3. Known limitations

We prefer to state these rather than claim full conformance. As of the date at the top of this page:

The site's visual design is still in progress. Colour contrast will be verified against WCAG 2.2 AA when the final palette is in place.
Video and audio pieces published in the future will need captions and transcripts. Any piece lacking them will be flagged until fixed.
No audit by external users of assistive technology has been carried out yet. Our checks so far are internal.

If you hit a barrier on this site, write to hello@contanimation.com. Describing the page, what you were trying to do and the technology you use helps us reproduce it. We aim to reply within 15 working days.

If our response does not resolve the issue, you may bring a claim before the competent authority under Royal Decree 1112/2018.

5. Status of this statement

This statement was prepared through a self-assessment carried out by the team, and is reviewed whenever the site changes substantially. The last review date is shown at the top of the page.
