A film studio that shoots with AI and owns what it makes. Founded in 2024.
Contanimation is a film studio built around two things at once: work we make for other people, and worlds we own. Most studios pick one. We think the second is what makes the first worth hiring.
Where we stand on craft
Whoever draws by hand does something we do not do. We are not the next stage of animation and we are not competing with it — we are doing a different thing, with different tools and a different set of problems. Anyone selling AI as the replacement for a hundred years of craft is selling something.
How we treat the people we work with
Collaborators are credited by name, with the specific work they did. Not a generic acknowledgement at the end of a reel. It costs nothing and it tells you how a studio is run.
What we are building
Worlds, and the pieces that live inside them. The catalogue grows the way a discography does, not the way a portfolio does — which is a longer game and the reason the studio exists.
