Read the full manifesto →Contanimation is an AI film studio with its own IP. Founded in 2024, we build worlds and produce them with AI — the tool is not the identity, the world is. Human judgement stays where the decisions are made, and everyone who collaborates is credited by name.
The craft
We do not work with technology alone. There are storyboards and people who draw them, voice actors, writers, art direction, an edit that takes longer than anyone expects. AI is one more technique inside a process made of people — and everyone in it is credited by name.

About us
Contanimation is a duo. Javier and Guillermo are art directors and film directors at the same time — the world and the shot decided by the same two people, not a director plus someone who makes it look nice. AI executes. It does not direct.

Javier de la Chica Javier is a director, communicator and co-founder of Contanimation. Before the studio, he directed more than 100 episodes of animated series while developing his own projects and experimenting with new ways of making them possible. Read bio → 
Guillermo Miranda Guillermo is a director, editor and co-founder of Contanimation. His background spans television editing, 3D, VR and eight years directing animation for biotech and pharma before Contanimation became the place where all of those disciplines could meet. Read bio →
